Great facility for research and innovation. There are a lot a labs and simulation setups for specialized testing/experimentation. Tours can be arranged for pre-med students or researchers (reach out via email). The parking lot in front says it’s “reserved” so not sure if it’s open for visitors. However there’s a free garage right beside the building with free valet parking.
I took my CPR class here. Although, the class wasn’t just CPR, you got to learn how to stop someone from bleeding out. We all got certified for both. The employees provided great instruction for what we were doing. They also gave individual help if needed. I will be taking this again, and would recommend this to anyone. The skills I learned can save someone’s life.
Signage could be clearer. Difficult to access entrance from garage. The parking in front of the building is not actually for people attending instruction inside the building. Attendees are expected to use adjoining garage but there aren't signs identifying the entrance in the garage. Excellent facility! I was here for a single day ultrasound symposium. The facility sits just off of I-74. It is easy to see from the interstate, and it is very easy to get to from the interstate. The facility is really, really nice! The auditoriums were spacious and comfortable. The restrooms were very clean. The simulated hospital floor was very well put together.
I've been here for several medical training and orientation meetings. They have hands-on training for medical providers and most have been excellent. The OSF Neurology Conferences are Top Notch as is the Communications 101.
