Tldr; looks instagram pretty but other thai restaurants do a better job in the taste department (eg. Chalong, Fish Cheeks) The wait staff are very nice and ask for Google reviews when youre paying the check with a QR code which helped explain to us, at least, why this place has so many reviews. Pros - The dishes are beautifully decorated & colorful. The wait staff are very friendly. My friend and I had an early reservation for dinner and it didn't disappoint us one bit. Walking in you immediately knew you were in for a treat, the decor brought Thailand to the US. As for the food each bite kept getting better and better. We shared these jumbo prawns and delicate little dumplings. The dipping sauce for the prawns was mildly spicy. I had the duck while she had a the beef dish. Our eyes lit up as the food came out and we were blown away by each bite.
Do yourself a favor; skip the flight and hassle of going to Thailand, and just reserve a table at Kaew Jao Jorm Thai instead. Our friends were visiting from Colombia and wanted to try something that they couldn’t easily get in Bogota, so we brought them here to try it out because of all the stellar reviews. One of the best Thai restaurants in Thailand the city! Cozy place, there are about 10 tables hope they expand in this summer. All dishes came out amazing, I can tell kitchen person they cook their food with heart. Weekend reservation needed Pad see ew is a must! Also tomyum young coconut.
Found this gem near my apartment, it’s not a big space but very cozy. The service was amazing, staff were attentive, and frequently came by to give us rice and water. The food was delicious, dishes are definitely on the pricier end but the portions are well sized. Highly recommend and would come back again!
