Haven't been here in a while. Stopped to make a bet on the Preakness. The place is dismal. Poorly laid out, reeks of cigarette smoke, long hallways for no apparent reason, the bar, if you can call it that, is a joke. Are all Fair Ground OTB's this bad?
Good environment if you dont want to go to big casino. They will ration out the free baby beers. Lady took her time to serve me behind the bar when the place was empty. Left to play my machine and came back and still waited while she did other stuff, wven though she seen me waiting. That frustrated me.
Well it's clean and had the space. If I'm betting on the races I'm happy. But the bar needs work, the poker slots need ventilation and service attendants maybe a few other games besides poker. Wasn't a bad experience to kill some time before the airport but not one I'd be running back to anytime soon
Not bad. You have to pay for drinks but large, friendly bartender, lots of parking. Would go back
Very fun atmosphere and people employees included.
