Dr. Barke has been my eye doctor for 12 years. I have the highest regard for his knowledge and seems to be up on the latest and current treatment and surgery procedures for eyes.
On July 21 2025, I noticed my left eye was not aligning with my right eye. After observing this, I scheduled an appointment with Dr Ronald Barke. I met with a Key Whitman nurse and was informed this condition was explained to me January 2021. This visit was the first time I was aware of any prior discussion or diagnosis. Barke is not trustworthy and failed to address or offer a treatment plan for a condition for over 4 years
Dr. Barke needs to learn how to treat his patients. He is rude & belligerant. He may know what he is talking about but his personal treatment of people is so poor it's amazing.
I've seen Dr. Barke 2 times over the last year. Each time he was hurried, condescending and he acted annoyed when I would ask questions about my conditions. He would also use complex medical terminology instead of terms that the average person could understand which in turn required me to ask even more questions. I definitely will not return to this individual based on his arrogant demeanor and lack of respect for his patients.
