We have been customers of Knothead Tree and Lawn for the past 5-10 years. They routinely spray for tree-boring insects semi-annually and recently, they removed some large trees for insurance-required fire mitigation through IBHS (Institute for Business & Home Safety) to get our home “Wildfire Prepared” certified. If your insurance company is requiring mitigation to become IBHS certified, Knothead is who you should call. We have been using Knothead Tree and Lawn Care for around 15 years now and have never been disappointed. Knothead does a great job pruning all our trees and we have 7 - 45 year old Pine trees and a huge beautiful Ash Tree. We also use them for preventative care with deep root tree injections, pine beetle and ash borer beetle. They also are great about cleaning up after the pruning and don't leave a big mess. I highly recommend them.
Excellent pruning and tree removal service, quick and efficient and good clean up afterwards. The team leader gave me advice on the pruned tree and some mold and disease to watch out for in the upper trunk and branches. Follow up with stump grinding on the tree removal went well too, great job all round.
I was very impressed with the folks at Knothead. From their receptionist to the arborist (Cullen) to the team leader (Grant) and the rest of the crew that did the work, Knothead's people were all both professional and friendly. The crew was very responsive to our requests, and they were very respectful of our property and did a thorough clean-up of our yard before leaving. The onl... read more
Greg, Garrett, and Alex from Knothead did really great work removing a large 40+ year-old foxtail pine that had succumbed to a faulty watering system and extreme drought conditions. They were remarkably efficient and cleaned up everything when the job was done. We will definitely use their services again--highly recommend.
