I think Rumpke does a great job. They are very understanding when u get a little behind on your bill and don't hassle u to get it paid quickly or they will not pickup your trash. Pick up at home is fine. However to charge $35 dollars to take a load to the garbage dump is crazy when I already pay monthly bill. And it's $35 per load. So if I have 4 loads it would cost $140 on top of my monthly $30 bill
I pay an outrageous amount for garbage every month and they frequently drive right past my can. I have to call and have them come back out and pick up my trash. It's insane. It's in a rumpke can and it sits in the same spot every week. I shouldn't have to call and remind them to get my garbage. It snowed one week and they couldn't pick up my trash and actually expected me to be ok with being charged for a full month. I get that the snow was too deep. The employee we spoke with made it easy to sign up for Rumpke. Our services were activated quickly and are always picked up on time.
I received a note that my garbage was to heaven. I went to the transfer station and talked to an employee about it, he stated the employee that picks up my trash is a little guy and can't lift. I also went to the transfer station on a Saturday at 11:30 am but they were closed. The hours are 8-12
