WAY OVER PRICED!!! I paid $350 for maybe 2000lbs of junk, when 20 minutes either way down the road would’ve been $50-$75. They charge by the yard, I would not recommend anyone go there at all until they fix their system and start charging by the ton like all stations around them.
Pick up at home is fine. However to charge $35 dollars to take a load to the garbage dump is crazy when I already pay monthly bill. And it's $35 per load. So if I have 4 loads it would cost $140 on top of my monthly $30 bill
I think Rumpke does a great job. They are very understanding when u get a little behind on your bill and don't hassle u to get it paid quickly or they will not pickup your trash. Very good experience, my trash is always picked up and on time! I also love the free dump days! It helps keep our community cleaned up if everyone would take advantage of these days!
I pay an outrageous amount for garbage every month and they frequently drive right past my can. I have to call and have them come back out and pick up my trash. It's insane. It's in a rumpke can and it sits in the same spot every week. I shouldn't have to call and remind them to get my garbage. It snowed one week and they couldn't pick up my trash and actually expected me to be ok with being charged for a full month. I get that the snow was too deep.
