Our goal at Ko'olau Women's Health Care is to provide a positive experience for all aspects of women's healthcare. We have been in practice since 1992 and are conveniently located next to Castle Medical Center in Kailua and Queen's POB II in Honolulu. Our doctors and midwives are flexible and support natural approaches to childbirth. We do VBACs at Queens and Kapiolani, and support high-risk deliveries, and preterm deliveries at these locations. Dr. Bhattacharyya is skilled in single-site minimally invasive surgery.

I love Dr Bhattacharyya office both POB II and Koolau office! They are always filled with so much aloha from check-in to checkout. I know they care about me as an individual, bedside manners are always great, and I feel so comfortable being in my most vulnerable moment. Oh I started care in my 20’s went away to live in the mainland came back in my 40’s and things were still service with Aloha!
Dr Awaya makes you feel comfortable and easy to talk to especially as a gynecologist. She’s very thorough with her exams and has been practicing for a long time. I expressed hoping that this clinic never sells to Queens Medical Group and remains an independent OB/GYN practice!
I’ve seen Dr Awaya for all three of my babies… starting 13 years ago! She’s always been professional, thorough, thoughtful and kind. She’sa treasure and so is her staff.
Doctor Eesha Bhattacharyya seemed highly unconcerned with my actual health issues. I have highly debilitating periods and he basically suggested a pre menopausal pill that “may or may not” help my excruciating pain. I am 30 years old. People who study for a decade to be a Dr. end up suggesting my only solution is making myself pre menopausal? How is that a healthy option? Without a doubt you want Dr. Awaya for your OB provider! She is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I am so glad I found her. Also, the drive from Hickam was so much nicer to Kailua than Honolulu.
