If I could give zero stars I would. All she wanted to do was place me on several different medications. One being one I specifically advised gave me horrible side effects in the past. She talked and assumed more than she actually listened. I asked for recommendations on therapist because being on medicine for ever wasn’t my goal. She said she couldn’t recommend anybody because she didn’t know me like that. If I could give zero stars I would. Called me a liar about my meds I've been on since I was 12 b/c I had not filled a script in a few months since I was using up all my extra from when it was written w/ extra. Basically called me a junkie. Rude and sent me into a break. Terrible!
I did not have the best experience with Dr Tang. I felt that she dismissed a lot of my concerns. She denied giving me an autism screening because I was "Making eye contact with her"... Through a video call... I switched doctors immediately after that.
I had a pretty terrible experience with Dr. Tang. She discounted most things I said, refused to give me an ADHD screening, and instead upped my already existing meds (against my wishes) more and more with each visit. There was no personal connection, and it felt like she wanted to get me off of each telehealth appt as quickly as possible. I'm currently on day 3 of calling and trying to refill those medications - by the way, you have to do this EVERY month. It isn't automatic like other offices. The doctor was very nice and showed much concern regarding patient care. While tele health is the “New” normal, it felt a bit impersonal. Perhaps an extended period of time would leave the patient feeling as if all areas of discussion were met.
