Excellent service today from Lance at kwik fit Bulwell. We called in on the off chance that we could get our front tyre resealed as it was losing air from around the rim. Lance fitted us in and quickly resealed the tyre with the correct silicone. We had previously been to another kwik fit last year with the same problem and apparently it hadn't been done properly with silicone, Thanks to Lance who solved the problem and didn't charge us for it. Friendly and efficient service!
I walked in to see if I could get new front tyres fitted to my car. Lance was able to quickly book me in, despite the fact I hadn't made a booking, and checked the wheel alignment on my car as well. Fantastic professional service from Lance!
The staff were amazing. We were about to set off on a four hour journey at 3:30pm when we realised we had a puncture. I phoned the garage who checked they had a tyre and said if we could get there in ten minutes, they would sort us out. We arrived at 3:45pm on Sunday, when the garage was due to close. The staff were very friendly and willing to sort us out. They replaced two tyres and we were ready to go by 4:20pm. Why do car garages exist? Because they have the knowledge and tools to perform the work that is requested. Except, Quik-Fit refused to simply torque one of my wheels "because they didn't take the tyre off". So they'd rather I drive a car with a potentially loose wheel than spend the 30 seconds torquing it up. Absolutely useless.
Come in for just a free wheel alignment check . I only asked the manager for a bit of advice on another issue with my vehicle and the team had a good check. The level of help they offered is unmatched and will be definitely taking business there in the near future . Top management.
