I called around to get best price on installing a tank, I chose Lakes Gas. I called them back to confirm the installation price and they confirmed it would be $55 yearly lease plus propane. So I said go ahead with the installation. Next day after the installation instead of charging my card the $55 they charged over $400 just for the installation. They hadn't even filled the tank yet. We wanted a tank set and propane filled for our new house. Kept us hanging for weeks and weeks and weeks. Thank God it wasn't snowing or we would have froze to death. This ** will s**** you by filling your tank after the prebuy price price expires after only 3 days when they could have done it 3 days before for the lower cost
I have been working with my attorney on the encroachment matter with my neighbor since their propane tank is 20 feet on my property. I have needed to call Lakes Gas in ******* and spoke with the Location Manager *******************. I am not able to express enough how discourteous of a person ******************* can be to a woman. Initially great customer service and response time. Once I became a customer I quickly found this was incorrect. Be prepaid for a lack of communication and customer respect. I would recommend reading a gas companies reviews verse looking at costs.

I spoke to this person last week over his concern of what he received back for a refund on some gas he pre-bought and explained to him on how he was asking us to buy back gas that he had purchased last year and didn’t use. This is a case of him selling his home and the new owner didn’t want to work with him on purchasing the rest of his contract gas.
