Writing this review for others to be wary. My mom kept receiving phone calls and letters regarding a late car payment. Landmark kept insisting it was my mom's fault that SHE was late and that interestkeeps accruing. I took my mom to pull up all receipts to show she has never been late. Each time the representative and tellers would say a different month; each time we would show proof, it would be another month. Elena, was amazing to work with, have never had an honest banker ever, she truly answered all my questions and made the car loan process very smooth, her kindness and willingness to help truly made my experience with Landmark great! I’ve had an absolutely awful experience with Landmark Credit Union. The hold times are ridiculously long, and when you finally get through, the customer service is terrible. The representatives are unprofessional, lack confidence, and can’t answer even the simplest questions. To make things worse, even the management is clueless. They promise to call you back, but they never follow through. I would strongly recommend avoiding this credit union at all costs if you value your time and sanity.
The service reps have no idea what they are speaking about! They can’t give you any information or actual numbers. They expect you to just pay up when you finally hear the dollar amount and act like it’s nothing they can do or see…the LEAST THEY COULD DO IS PROVIDE AN ESTIMATED AMOUNT. What’s even worse is they all have a different outlook on their procedures so you never receive the actual answer as to what you need to do to complete a task correctly for them to service you! It’s mind blowing!
Charge you fees for no reason. I tried to transfer money into the stupid savings that they make you get in order to pay your car payment and they told me I was trying to withdraw and charged me a $30 fee! I called them and the guy on the phone was very condescending and told me Basically oh well about the fee that I have to pay it! even though it shows on my other bank that it was an outgoing transfer INTO the account with landmark! Would NOT recommend them!
