Be careful - it takes a full billing cycle for credit card autopay to kick in, so when the system appears to have you setup for autopay your payment may not actually be withdrawn for you. This silliness caused me to receive a $25 late fee and overdue balance despite enrolling in autopay on 7/22/2024 for a payment due 8/5/2024. I emailed the rep who had initially helped me setup the autopay, and the rep responded very quickly and the late fee was reversed. Worst experience ever, I had a Zelle sent to me and never received the funds and Landmark staff said there was a glitch in their system. I been on the phone with landmark for 4 days straight never got the funds or the issues resolved.
DO NOT GET A AUTO LOAN HERE!! they will say they tried to call you, but they don’t. They add all sorts of unexpected fees. Then suddenly you get a call about repossession. All it took was one call and fixed. Ridiculous. Avoid at all cost.
Out of all the banks and credit unions I have worked with. This is by far the worst! Against my better judgment, the car dealership talked me into this credit union instead of Summit. Biggest bank mistake of my life. Summit treats you like a person and Landmark treats you like a number. Worst automated phone system, also. Would keep on going on, but not worth the trouble since, I'm sure, Landmark doesn't care because they're still receiving my money.
Throwing my 2 cents in as well. Landmark will do WHATEVER it takes to keep your loan on the books. I shouldn’t have to jump thru so many hoops to pay off the remainder of a car loan. 4 calls to pay it off and it’s always something else. I’m going into the branch, in person, closing my account and never doing business with them again.
