Called this morning to find out about a charge I didn’t know why I had, I talked to a woman who was incredibly rude to me! Banked here since 2016. They’re terrible. They act like they don’t know how to help you with simple tasks. All the account numbers they gave me were invalid. Paying a loan here monthly was the worst experience I’ve ever delt with. I finally got enough money together to pay my loan out here and close the account. So what did they do? Assured me my account was closed and 4 days later took 3200 out of my account on top of the money I already paid them 6300$ gone. Just gone. Predatory car lender. I refinanced a car in 2023 and thought my rate would be better. Hidden fees, penalties, and horrible customer account access (a website that won’t allow you to pay online or even look into your account to see what is owed). I was set up to lose my car by signing over to them. This should be illegal. My car was repossessed this morning after 1 missed phone call. I hate this company.
Do not even try to call their contact number… because you won’t get a person and if you repeat “representative” or press 0 to get to a person it will hang up on you by saying “goodbye” and when you do talk to someone 20 minutes after going through all the prompts it has a 10$ convenience fee to make any additional payments towards a car loan! Why are there no direct numbers directly to the bank?!
My family has used Landmark for about 7 years (2 auto loans, motorcycle loan, credit card) and we used to be able to make an INSTANT payment on the phone with a representative and now we can NOT do that anymore. We are in 2024 and we can make instant payments to just about any company and organization in the world. THIS IS VERY INCONVENIENT
