What a great find! Not only can I get my dry cleaning done, but they do laundry as well. Great location! The staff was very friendly. I must say, I read the reviews and I did not find the problems. Contrary, I found they did an exemplary job on my white jacket that I thought was a goner. It looks brand new!!! Thanks Lapels!
I’m extremely frustrated with my experience at this dry cleaning company. I brought in some clothes thinking it would be a straightforward process, but when I came to pick them up, I was hit with a much higher bill than expected. At no point did they give me an upfront price or even an estimate, and I only found out when it was time to pay. They are great! They totally took care of me and contacted me to remind me of my clothes being there forever! Super customer service and friendly!
I was a first time customer. Not going back. I went to pick up my item and the stain that was to be cleaned….wasn’t. They proceeded to say: “ That was already there”.. (in a defensive demeanor). I said; Yes! It’s why I brought it in! Then she asked if I wanted it redone? Seriously? Overpriced too. NEVER AGAIN.
I hate to blast a local business but I need to share our TERRIBLE experience with Lapels Dry Cleaning - Tampa #2 6431 E County Line Road New Tampa, FL 33647 in the old Winn Dixie plaza. We dropped off my son's school Orchestra tuxedo to get dry cleaned and their machine broke the buttons on the dress shirt. You'd think this kind of place would have the resources to fix this, but instead, they placed the broken buttons in a small bag, handed them to my wife, blamed US for the damage and charged us full price.
