Very disappointed with my experience at Lapels Cleaners. They clearly advertise both online and outside the store that they offer alterations. I went in specifically for that service, and the woman at the counter told me they don’t do alterations. It’s frustrating to see a business promote services in several places and then refuse them in person, especially with poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.

My experience was unfortunate. I repeatedly told the girl who waited on me that my dress was brand new, did not need to be dry cleaned, and should only be steamed. When I received the dress, rhinestones were either loose or totally missing from the dress. When I registered this information in person and showed pictures to the clerk at the Walton Way Extension location, he basically told me that my original request for treatment of the dress had not been entered into the computer correctly, and while that was clearly the faul... read more

I'm hoping I can save others a trip. This location is now closed on Saturdays. You will not find this reflected on their Google site nor will you find it reflected on their website.
