My husband and I joined a one-hour dog sledding adventure, and our guide, Chase, was incredibly professional and entertaining. Throughout the journey, we had great conversations that helped me gain a deeper understanding of the history and techniques of dog sledding, as well as many fascinating stories about Alaska. The scenery along the way was breathtaking, and the entire experience felt very safe—I highly recommend it to everyone! During our chat, Chase even taught me a few commands used to guide the dogs, and in return,... read more
Magical and amazing experience. They are well equipped with cold weather gear, so do not worry about being cold! Get ready for the hilariously well insulated snow boots! Our guide, Chase, was incredible. He took us around to meet all the dogs in advance and tell us their back story. It was incredible to watch the dogs get excited for the ride, and then take off. The scenery on the trip was gorgeous. Chase explained the ins and outs of dog mushing and we learned A TON! At the halfway point we stopped and chase took pictures o... read more
Our 90 minute tour was a wonderful experience, and a perfect activity to slot into our Alaska trip. Chase and Jeremy were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about dog mushing - their love of the sport was surpassed only by their love for the dogs, which were cute, friendly, and well cared for. Getting to spend time with them was my personal highlight, but even if you’re not a dog person, I’d recommend the tour. The ride was smooth and the loop was a perfect length. The tour also provided ample warm clothing. I’d absolu... read more
Absolutely amazing experience! Our tour guide was so informative and was willing to entertain all our questions. We got to meet all the dogs, then thank them for a great trip. The scenery is so beautiful and it was so relaxing to sit back and let the doggos do their thing. 10/10, already trying to figure out how I can go mushing again!
My friend and I went to Alaska and visited Last Frontier Mushing Co-op in early January. We had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Jeremy. Meeting his dogs was an absolute delight and he answered all of the questions that we could possibly ask him during our 8 mile tour. We really appreciated that they made sure that we were adequately dressed to be outside and provided outer gear that ensured we stayed nice and warm while we enjoyed the dog sled tour. The directions were clear and concise on how to get the... read more
