IVF is a humbling experience, we went in unrealistically thinking we’d get pregnant on our first try, but 3 years, 6 rounds, and 6 transfers later, we finally got pregnant. Not to discourage anyone, but it’s the reality of IVF, there’s no guarantees. Dr. Smikle and his team have never given us false hope but fought and gave us a real chance at starting our family and being an amazing support system to my husband and I.
