Great Doctor, But Horrible Management and Consistent 2+ Hour WaittimesI am writing this review to share my consistent, incredibly frustrating experiences at Key-Whitman Eye Center. I have been a patient of Dr. Mingi Choi, O.D., for the past 4 years. I had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Ronald Barclay end of July right eye and middle of August my second eye. I chose the panoptix pro multi focus lens. I want to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible results! The difference in my vision is truly life-changing. Dr. Barkey and his exceptional staff provided me with professionalism, and care. They have given me back a quality of life. I didn’t realize I was missing! I no longer need glasses or contacts and I can see better than 2020 at any distance!
This practice=horrible. Wait times are so bad and their excuse is always the same "we are running behind". It is brutally apparent that the majority of the office staff do not care about the patients or their jobs. I have been seeing Dr. Choi for a few years, and she has been great. However, I recently had to encounter Dr. Amy Hong, who was rude, condescending, and honestly, a complete jerk. Her excuse when called out about her behavior, "this is just who I am"....wait, what? Dr. Amy Hong is excellent, knowledgeable, current on new procedures, medications, etc. She goes out of her way to take care of her patients. Dr. Hong answers any & all questions you may have, is very respectful & caring. She asks her patients important questions to make sure she has needed information from her patients. She has a good personality too. I highly recommend her.
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Mingi Choi at Key-Whitman Eye Center. I was having some concerns about some new symptoms with my vision, but Dr. Choi was incredibly professional and understanding of my worries right from the start. She performed a very thorough, detailed eye exam and completely reassured me that I am okay. The entire experience at Key-Whitman Eye Center was top-notch. I highly recommend Dr. Choi and the team for their exceptional care and professionalism!
