Fun little adventure that lasts about 2-2.5 hours touring mostly rocky, dirt roads just outside of Leadville. Some paved parts. Nice views of the valley and remnants of old mining structures. Tour guide Carson was knowledgeable of the history of the area and the landscape. He was also easy going and made sure we were safe and enjoying ourselves. Leadville ATV Tours is a must for anyone looking to experience Colorado’s stunning natural beauty. Our guide was polite and knowledgeable, even sharing a bit of local history as we made our way along the trail. The views were vast and breathtaking—easily some of the best memories we made. You can choose to drive your own ATV or ride with a guide. The trail isn’t overly difficult, though it can get bumpy at times. We had the BEST time with Josh at Leadville ATV Tours! He was absolutely fantastic—so knowledgeable about the area, and we loved all the fun facts he shared along the way. He was incredibly kind, and honestly, his photography skills alone deserve five stars. There were a few people on our trip who needed some extra patience, and Josh handled everything so gracefully. This tour was definitely worth booking for our trip to Colorado! We had a great time with Elijah as our tour guide. He helped us with any questions we had, he was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, and overall he made sure we had a great time! Hot chocolate and getting to stop during our tour and take in the beautiful view was definitely a highlight! We had an awesome time with them 100/10 recommend!
We had an absolutely incredible adventure with LEADVILLE ATV! The UTV ride through rugged, treacherous mountain terrain was exhilarating from start to finish. Reaching over 14,000 feet in elevation—what’s known as a “14er”—was both thrilling and humbling, and the views were breathtaking. Our guide made the entire experience even more memorable.
