My installer, Yurii Postol did an excellent job of putting up my new gutters. He discussed any concerns I had prior to the initial install. He dilegently worked on, even in the pouring rain we had that afternoon. Neatly cleaned up the jobsite and was professional in every way.
Okay my experience with LeafFilter was odd... 1st I scheduled a free quote. Two people showed up and upsold my fiancé for HOURS. (5pm-8:15pm) All I wanted was an estimate of the cost and what my options are. They will not leave until you agree to have the work done. It is defiantly more than just a quote when they come. My Fiancé did say they were nice people but he had to talk them down from $12,000 to $4,000. Then they told my fiancé they would be sending a team to do the work and it'll take 4hrs. Casey with Leaf Filter arrived for the installation on schedule, and did a quick, professional job of getting the leaf filters installed. The back of our house is tall, and he had the equipment to get things done safely.
I just posted on Trust Pilot. In searching Google reviews I see my daughter posted about my negative experience with Leaf Filter a year back. I will give you a little background. My first winter with Leaf Filter guards resulted in a large ice dam on my roof, causing significant damage and a substantial out of pocket cost for me. I encourage you to view my Trust Pilot review to learn more. The install was October, 2022, FAR00515. Damage occurred January - March 2023.
The product is well-rated, but they use high pressure sales tactics, which they would not need to do it they were selling the product at a fair price. If you balk at their initial estimates, they will bring the price down. And down. And down, with multiple discounts that all happen to expire today. I am sure if you spend enough time bargaining you can get them down to the actual price. But an honest company will just give the correct estimate up-front and skip the song-and-dance.
