“I am a senior citizen and I was quoted $16,770 for gutter replacement and leaf covers. I felt the price was extremely high for the work being offered. As a senior on a fixed income, this was very concerning to me. I encourage other homeowners, especially seniors, to get multiple quotes before signing anything. I had contacted Leaf Filter last June (2024) to install gutter guards because I saw their product in one of the trade shows. I was interested in the product and since they were the sole supplier, it was difficult to price comparisons. Their sales rep was pleasant enough to deal with. Gave me an initial quote which I was hesitant about since it was more than double what I was thinking it would be. He did offer a discount, which I took him up on. She provided a budget-friendly quote that made sense, with no pressure or hidden surprises, which made the decision easy for me. I felt comfortable and confident moving forward right away. I really appreciated her honesty and straightforward approach and would definitely recommend her to others.
Extremely disappointed with LeafFilter. The pricing was outrageously high for what was promised, and the quality of work did not come close to justifying the cost. We were told rotten wood would be properly replaced, but instead it was simply covered over, which is not a proper repair. We cancelled the contract but were still forced to pay 25% of the total cost. I called LeafFilter and set up an appointment for an estimate. I thought the estimate was reasonable (especially with the warranty). They did the installation the same week. My husband has been on the roof since it's been installed and he's happy with the installation. The gutter protection has been installed for almost a year now and I haven't had any issues. It works well. I'm very pleased with the product and service I received. My husband is also happy now that he doesn't have to clean the gutters.
