Dr. Scioscia and his entire team is truly amazing!!! I had to have 2 teeth extracted back in February and 1 tooth again this past June. I grew up with my uncle being our family dentist for 38 years but since moving to SC, I no longer had that comfort that I would be taken care of. I am so impressed with Dr. Scioscia and his team (Jessica & the entire front desk staff). From my initial request for an appointment, to their follow up call (cancellation waiting list which got me in 3.5 weeks earlier than scheduled) to my experience the day of the surgery, their communications were friendly, professional & informative. I was very pleased with how my daughter was treated as well as how her surgery was handled with care. I felt that she was more than just another patient. The staff as well as the surgeon were very polite, kind, and caring. I will highly recommend to anyone needing dental care. The surgeon even called personally to check on my daughter. That gave me the best feeling to know he thought of her on a personal as well as a professional level.🙂
Had two top pre-molars pulled for getting braces. Dr Scioscia & his staff were very professional & explained procedure & aftercare very clearly. Extraction was essentially painless and left with written aftercare instructions. Never used the pain medication prescription… just OTC Advil & Tylenol. Only advice is to follow the instructions closely, take the antibiotic, keep up with OTC meds the first 48 hrs, salt water rinse, light brushing, no spitting etc.
If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. Lexington Facial & Oral Surgery is hands-down one of the best medical offices our family has ever experienced.
