I had the pleasure of speaking to Rebecca of liberty 1 financial. This experience was different than all my previous experiences with companies like this. Rebecca was kind respectful and helpful she was patient and went through every option available. What was different was I actually called liberty after getting from the internet mostly bad reviews. Liars, Liars , Liars...they don't give me any loan while the letter I got from them said I am qualified for 45K with $490 monthly payments I said OK, give me the money, they said No, we can only give you 18000 to pay your unsecured credit card debts with $150-$200 dollars less monthly payments!! Well that's not what your letter said!! Run away from them as fast as you can because they deceived me and they will deceive you the same way
Bait and switch company. They do not help with loans. They instead talk you into paying them to negotiate your debt with your creditors which you can do on your own at a fraction of the cost. They help ruin your credit score, cancel any credit you have, run up high interest and late fees while making money off you. Run away!!
I have been receiving offers from Liberty 1 for a while now. I decided recently to accept an offer. My personalized web page said someone would call. No one did. I then received an email indicating I should call. No one answered. I left a message. After 5 voice messages and 5 emails.... Still no reply.
So basically their a referral service for "bankruptcy" attorneys. They want you to default on your credit cards then they will request a pay off amount. All the 5 star reviews are from ghost writers with 1 and only 1 review so this tactic is deceiving enough for you not to trust this.
