My kids have been coming here for the last 3 years. The techs are amazing and I’ve grown to love working with them daily. My children have learned a lot and they have made a lot of progress. The previous clinical director was amazing and I wish she never left. I keep my kids at this clinic simply because they don’t do well with changes and they’re so comfortable coming here but I would not recommend based off of the present director and her ways and the way she over steps her boundaries time and time again.
My son attends Life Skills Autism Academy and he loves it! They are consistent with communicating and updating you on progress and development. They work with you to give you and your child the skills necessary to progress.
My son has been attending this center for 2 years. The staff is wonderful and I love their approach to teaching life skills. My son is now able to communicate his needs, I now know how to help him when he has meltdowns and he is socializing with his peers. We still have other goals to accomplish.
We are absolutely in love with everyone at this center. My son went from being nonverbal, crying and screaming for everything to talking, playing, interacting with other children and much much more. We are so grateful for the staff at Life Skills Academy in Katy! Every person that we have encountered has been very kind and helpful. Worst experience ever. Very discriminatory, unprofessional & dismissive.... Administration in particular. Rules and policies abruptly change every week. There were only a few people who were always nice to us and helped as much as they could. My child was also injured here and nobody felt the need to tell me until a week later and I'm sure if I would've never asked them any questions they would have never told me anything.
