Lifestance billing is impossible to work with. I was automatically billed for an appointment because they billed my old insurance and it wasn't approved. I've called 3 times over the past two months, spent hours on hold, provided my new insurance information multiple times, and they still haven't billed my new insurance. They owe me almost $400 and I honestly doubt I'll ever get it back. It's a shame because the providers I've had at Lifestance have been good. I had an evaluation done there. That was a good experience. And why I’m not giving it one star. Once the results came back, they had no support for me and I had to wait six months to talk to someone else. The medical provider put me on medication and I kept complaining that it made me tired. After 10 months, I wean myself off and discovered I had an iron deficiency. Also, after a year I got into a support group. I got nothing new from the group. I've liked my experience so far but there are some outlandish policies. Such as 250 fee for missing an appointment or being late. Admins are often late and doctors as well. I never get a $250 credit 🤷

This place deleted my last review. Horrible scam of a company stole $300 from me outside of a payment plan that included charges they couldn’t explain. Refuse to send me a receipt for a refund & told me to contact my bank if i haven’t received anything and my bank says they’ve never received anything besides invoices from Lifestance. Absolute joke of a “mental health” advocacy company.
