The providers I’ve seen here are great but the support staff seem to be struggling. I’ve had to call every day for a week about a prior authorization and it still has not been submitted but I was lied to and told it was. About half the calls I’ve made are met with rudeness from office staff. Again providers are great, support office staff not so much.
I booked an appointment in July for September. The appointment was cancelled and I was never told. Now it's September and no appointment and the soonest they have now is March. I asked if they have a cancellation list and was told that I can call back and ask if anything opens. The operator was very apologetic, but that doesn't get me 2 months back that could have been used to schedule another appointment.
Caution. Location assured service was covered 100% during 2nd visit, but now three month later is sending billing statement for thousands of dollars. Filed complaint with BBB and State of Michigan. Update 29Jul: After speaking with claim department, instead of resolving the issue LifeStance is trying to change the facts. Many other customers have same complaint (see BBB, Yelp). Avoid.
I went to lifestance Novi to get therapy on stuff like overthinking and fear of eating in public. I had Colleen Crossey as my therapist. I wasted $400 on her. We had weekly sessions and I think I had 7 sessions(not sure how many exactly) with her until I stopped. The reason I stopped is because she didn’t do any kind of treatment to help me. Today was suppose to be the start of mental healing journey that actually resulted in a mental breakdown. Therapist zainab hourani was very impatient and rude . I really had high hopes for this to cure my anxiety 😥. Sadly , i won’t be taking any sessions with them . I really hope they train people to be kind and respectful towards others before anything else .
