If I could give negative stars I would. To start off with I couldn’t even comment on my therapist as to the fact I never got through the receptionist! I am new to Texas my husband was seen here prior to my visit and recommended them and set my appointment. Was having difficulty with insurance cards and getting co pays straightened out which was frustrating in itself. Melinda is compassionate, patient, and very easy to talk to. She created a safe and supportive environment during a difficult time for me emotionally. I truly appreciated her professionalism, empathy, and ability to listen without judgment. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for thoughtful and caring support.

I am in the early stages of therapy, and initially it was terrifying for me to dive into all of my issues. I will say my first appointment was terrifying for me, but my therapist, Melinda, really allowed for me to just settle in and feel comfortable. I didn’t feel like it was embarrassing or scary to discuss my problems, she did create a space for me to not feel judged or worry about how I would be perceived. I found the experience here to be very unprofessional. I called a day in advance to cancel my appointment (yes, I understand that may fall into a late cancellation window), but at no point, neither when I originally scheduled nor when I called to cancel, was I told that I would be charged a 150 fee, or how much the late fee would be. If I had been clearly informed about the fee ahead of time, I would have made a different decision. Waking up to a 150 charge with no prior notice was extremely frustrating.

Correy Spence is a fantastic Psyciatrist! He so thoughtful, caring knowledgeable, thorough, and very professional! He truly does care about his patience and does everything in his power to help carefully. He’s not quick to prescribe and he’s not doing it just for a bo us on a paycheck. (Unlike many doctors in DFW). I would highly recommend him to friends and family.
