Issue is with admin. The counselor was ok. I called and specifically asked if they took my insurance. They said yes. We waited 2 weeks for our first appointment. We then went for 4 more appointments. On the 5th appointment I was told they dont take my insurance. Now I owe over $1500. Its very easy to check insurance, the fact that it took them well over a month to tell me they dont accept mine was ridiculous. 2026 update: BILLING STILL AWFUL In addition to the grievances below, LifeStance has overcharged my card, leaving me with a negative balance (i.e. LifeStance now owes me money). I had to call in for them to refund me. I've never had another healthcare provider that will flagrantly overcharge people on the expectation that they won't fight it. I've never worked with a company that would bill you double your balance "as a mistake". The folks I've spoken to in their billing department have been rude on the phone too. In addit... read more

Today was my daughter's first visit and I am so pleased with her therapist Marny! She was just wonderful from the beginning. My daughter was so comfortable, I haven't heard her talk so much and seem so at ease in such a long time. We traveled from Everett to Renton and had to wait over 5 weeks for this appointment, but it was worth it!
