I love and adore my provider, but LifeStance is a giant corporation. They don’t care about patients and are trying to get as much money as possible at every turn, over billing, never picking up phone calls, unable to contact your local office directly. My self pay rate went up $10 without my therapist even knowing, and they’re constantly making changes that make things worse. I was charged nearly $400 for a half hour telehealth appointment and was told by the therapist that he was unable to help me with my request. Trying to process the bill through insurance is a hassle since the portal has no method to add insurance information, and I regret that I now have wasted money for no assistance whatsoever. I'm new, but so far it's been a positive experience. UPDATE: Sadly, I stopped going there. The office is part of a larger scale network of providers and that is the problem. They have a call center type phone system for ALL of the clinics together, and the messages aren't bein sent/accepted. I cancelled an appointment, was reassured I would not incur additional fees, then I called to say I could make the appointment after all, and was assured that the appointment was still mine. My spouse went here for her psychiatrist needs. After being bounced around from person to person for several years, she ended up with an RN who did not listen and verbally berated her for requesting the help she has already been getting previously from this office. I am extremely upset at this treatment and the complete lack of professionalism from this individual. I cannot speak to the rest of the staff.
