My provider is wonderful. Lifestance administrative personnel are not patient friendly. Their administration repeatedly makes changes that do not benefit the patient. Their admins want to call you and tell you that you have to use their new procedures. They made it clear a lot of patients don’t want to use that system. Their new system isn’t a simple as check-in. I truly hope no one else has the experience I had with this provider. My first appointment was canceled without my knowledge. I then called to make a new appointment (as I was not able to reschedule online). 5 minutes into this new appointment, both the provider and I realize they sent me to a therapist instead of (the asked for) psychologist. I had a really terrible experience here. I’ve never sought out Psychiatric assistance before my appointment with LifeStance and I’m severely disappointed by my treatment. I expected an even handed assessment of my personal lived experience, possible diagnosis, and medication based specifically on that diagnosis. My provider, Enyang Etengeneng, was deeply alienating. I had a deeply upsetting experience during a required in-person appointment at LifeStance Health in Athens, GA with Nurse Practitioner Enyang Etengeneng. I was referred for a one-time visit to comply with policy, as my ongoing care is provided virtually by my regular psychiatrist.
