After waiting a month for an appointment with Dr. Sule Karakus, Psychiatrist, she decided she didn't help people "like me" at the last minute. She didn't send any advanced notification or tell me exactly why - other than refer me to medication management. Really odd, really rude to not at least talk to me.
Completing the paper work in advance electronically was so easily! Connecting with Dr. Jessica Ross via the patient portal was also a breeze and my appointment with her was a breath of fresh air!
The therapist I was paired with was still being licensed and that wasn’t ever explained to me so the sessions were bad. She said trite platitudes when I expressed some serious feelings. But on top of a counselor that didn’t fit, they charged me hundreds in fees when I rescheduled all of the upcoming appointments to a new therapist. My therapist had said I had to reschedule 24 hrs in advance - the billing office said 48 hours. They gave me an appointment for my son. I took my son out of school so he could have an appointment only to find out that the provider was a nurse. She said she was going to refer me to a doctor and they never called me back. I also had an appointment with a doctor and they called me later to say that he no longer worked with the company. Then they gave me another appointment at 7 pm which is my family time because they didn't have any more appointments. My provider is great. The patient portal is not! Request meds 2x through portal with no response but 8 providers were listed. Called to find out problem and left voicemail for provider. After 3rd week finally scheduled appt. 4 weeks it took to get a refill, unacceptable. Be nice if staff could at least respond to refill request stating an appt is needed!!
