I was looking for a therapist online and came across NJBH. I was able to make an appointment online and was seen the following week. Uploading my information and paying my copayment was easy and seamless, so I'm not really sure where the negative reviews about appointments are coming from. I wish I could give negative stars. Lifestance was awful to work with. Their policy was unclear and misleading. When I did speak with someone, I canceled my appointment and still got a text reminder about it. And then they had the audacity to thank me for using them when I did not use them. Beware!!!
No complaints, nice clean office. Great front desk staff comfortable waiting area. This was a referral from my primary care to verify a diagnosis. First appt was booked over a month out. Which was annoying. But whatever. Seemed normal enough.
UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW: The people who are responding to these comments offering help are useless. They say they want to help you but they actually don’t! I emailed the WeCare email over two months ago and followed up 4 times since then for a resolution. They responded that they are conducting “an internal investigation” and no response since then. I was referred to here by my OB for an appointment with a reproductive psychiatrist specifically to discuss taking methylphenidate during pregnancy. I was told by the person on the phone booking the appointment that she would book me with someone who fit that description. When I had my appt, that was the first thing I brought up, and the doctor, Dr Varma, said that not only is she not a reproductive psychiatrist, that "there are no reproductive psychiatrists in NJ" (quite a statement to make, but I guess she knows all of the... read more
