My experience with the Lifestance providers has been nothing but positive. Whether I’ve had MDs or NPs, they have all been professional and extremely helpful. My only reason for the 4 stats is that they are constantly changing. My providers have left x 3 and I’m being transferred to someone else as we speak. That’s the only negative
LifeStance is very helpful and attentive to my needs as a patient. The portal is great but I also really appreciate being able to speak with someone who is helpful when I call!
BEWARE - PREDATORY BILLING!!! My insurance coverage and EOB are simple and explicit that the only out-of-pocket amount I owe is a $10 copay. I was wrongfully charged hundreds of dollars and Aetna confirmed that Lifestance was paid the same amount by them AKA they were collecting double the amount and wrongfully charging my card. They were unresponsive to my repeated refund requests, including calls being disconnected as soon as I reached someone.
Save yourself and go somewhere else. This practice only wants your money. After seeing a nurse practitioner, I was told Dr. Carey was the only person within an hour of Philadelphia who could help me with my “complex medical history/medications”. I had to wait 2 months to be seen. Meanwhile, I’m being seen weekly (sometimes twice weekly) at $150 per visit to keep me on life support until medication can be added.
