My experience has not been great with the NP I saw, particularly the lack of attentiveness to getting medication filled. My medication showed that it was on hold for days, and they said it was because they were waiting for the prior authorization. When I messaged her about that, she asked me which medication it was for…she was the one who prescribed the medication for me, and it was the only medication. It still took days to get it done. Everyone has been kind and willing to assist me with any issues that have arisen promptly and professionally. I think very highly of Cathy Oplinger. I appreciate her patience, and I don't feel rushed. We can communicate, and I know she diligently listens to my conversation and shows empathy at all visits. I also LOVE that we can do visits online. This is by no means a reflection of their therapists, who are amazing, and I’ve had a wonderful experience with going on 4yrs. With that said. The business acumen of Lifestance, particularly when it comes to their billing department is absolutely unacceptable, as I have, since the beginning of 2026 dealt with several mismanaged charges to my personal account. I found this psychiatrist through the Medicare.gov website because I wanted to make sure I could get the Medicare approved rate. The Medicare website only had virtual appointments and many were not located locally. I was pleasantly surprised that this Psychiatrist knew all the right questions to ask and knew a lot about medications. She is also located in an office local to me so that after the initial assessment I can go to in-office appointments or virtual - my choice. Billing has yet to arrive. Lovely office, very easy to find. The Psychiatrist that I spoke with was very easy to talk to, gave me the time to get know me and why I was there and genuinely seemed concerned about my well-being.
