I had an appointment with Dr. Zhao today and he is a really caring psychiatrist. I was pleasantly surprised, but that was only because he was a man. I thought being a woman I should probably have a woman, but I tried it out and I feel like we will work well together. He listens, and is very kind and understanding. The two therapist I had were amazing, however Lifestance ‘Leadership’ is horrid. They took out money with my card on file, have yet to refund me, THEN told me since my card is now different (my card was hacked ), they have to send me a PAPER CHECK that will take 8 to 10 weeks! Mind you I did not authorize those charges!!!! Also! They said they do not accept my insurance, and my therapists did not know, but I called my insurance and guess what… LIFESTANCE IS IN NETWORK!!! Poor on all levels. The in-person therapy sessions for my son were less than 20 minutes sometimes less than 15 minutes and we paid for 1 hour sessions. The patient portal webite is extremely poor and holds no information. Expect to wait on hold for ages for customer support or billing issues. I am still trying to resolve an insurace and over charge issue 2 months down the line. Billing is opaque. They take money out of the card they have on file without notice. So far I felt the therapist was very thorough, friendly and easy to talk to. The website made it easy to initially book appointments based on my preferences.

So far so good. Was able to make an appointment fast for my daughter. Paperwork was easy, staff on phone were helpful, therapist was a great fit for my daughter. Overall very pleased with our experience.
