As a professional in the medical field, I felt as though I should not need help coping. So, I simply talked myself out of any kind of professional support. Lifestance came highly recommended by a good friend. I find this company overall to be kind and helpful. Making an appointment was easy and I was able to get in faster than expected. The Therapist and NP I was aligned to have both been wonderful. Based on my experiences thus far, I recommend this business.
Finding quality help in Portland is not an easy task. Frequently, psychiatrists can be curt or rude on the phone, be disrespectful or dismissive —all of which can make it extremely hard for someone seeking medical care for a mental health crisis (or continuing medical management) to actually get an appointment. The booking experience was easy. The person who I spoke with was kind and helpful. Sometimes I need to reschedule appointments and that always goes over well. Patience, understanding and kindness is all I have received from the people who book or reschedule my appointments.
