Tashia Williams doesn’t believe in FMLA and didn’t want to sign my renewal form. She also didn’t believe in giving me my panic attack meds because I shouldn’t “need a saftey net”. Went back to who I was seeing previously and suprise suprise they renewed my very necessary fmla paperwork and gave me back my very controlled dose of medication. If you can’t treat based on what THEY need and not your beliefs don’t work in this field.
Too many hidden fees. They charge a 100 fee to reschedule two days before. The psych nps are not accessible after hours. If you have a mental illness that requires any kind of flexibility, I wouls go elsewhere.
Lisa R is a great therapist who connects with me easily and gives me great advice for coping mechanisms. She is funny and easy to get along with, she is honest and does not sugar coat anything which I love but she is still very very kind.
I’m writing this as a husband. My wife called LifeStance Health to reschedule due to a family issue and was laughed at and pressured to share personal details—completely unacceptable for a mental health provider. For someone who already struggles with anxiety and fears being judged, this could have been her breaking point. A supervisor followed up, but focused more on keeping her as a customer than addressing what happened. This is not a safe or respectful environment for people seeking help.
EDITED 12-27-25: Joe from the Plainfield office reached out to help resolve the issue. I've changed my review from one star to three, because I see and acknowledge the effort. However, I can't gaslight myself; it still took a year of stress to get to this point. I thought he would've gotten rid of only the disputed charges, and I was ready to pay what I knew I for sure owed. I was very surprised to log on to my account and find that I owed nothing at all.
