Lousy experience, lack of professionalism. The visit with my provider was odd; we looked at the symptoms of a mental illness and talked about each symptom and why I might have it. I was then diagnosed with the mental illness. Clinicians shouldn't diagnose in the first session, especially not such a serious mental illness that can often look like other things or have comorbidities. My experience went very well! Dr. Baxter listened and really seemed to care about my issues and how we could fix them. I really appreciate the time she spent with me and hopefully I’m on my way to feeling better!
I've had nothing but good experiences with LifeStance so far. I see two different providers there that I feel like truly care about your health and well being. They have recommended testing that I hope to be very valuable in my journey moving forward.
I had a terrible experience with Victoria Stoklosa-Caldwell during marriage counseling. Instead of professional guidance, I felt unheard and disregarded for expressing my intentions to return to my career and that being a stay at home mom with zero financial support from my husband was putting a toll on me. Rather than helping us resolve our issues, the therapist made insulting comments, suggesting that I ‘get a night shift at McDonald’s’ because I wanted to work.
