Some therapists are great, I have found 2 wonderful ones out of 7 I’ve seen. I’ve been a patient for several years, my therapist left. I had a very bad experience with a new therapist. I called to cancel my Tuesday appointment on Friday, was put on hold for an hour, I had to go so I hung up. I called again Sunday to cancel, stayed on hold for 30 minutes, had to go and hung up. Well, the doctor sent over a referral for my mom to have neuropsychological testing done on August 1st. We have called twice since that date to see about scheduling the test. It is August 20th and to date no one has bothered to call us back. When you call it is a list of excuses and they say they will have back to schedule it. It has been almost 3 weeks since they received the referral. I am contacting my doctor to ask for a referral to a different neuropsychologist. Life Stance is a terrible administrator. My therapist David Pulliam was awesome, but he got smart and left Life Stance and so did I. Their communication is horrible. Then I got auto generated text for months informing me holiday appointments may be affected even though the holiday had come and gone. They charge you a ridiculous amount if you cancel inside of their 24hr policy. Then I had a claim that got kicked back because my insurance was temporarily canceled out of error. Been trying to pay a bill oe ar least find out if the insurance company was contacted. Put of hold for them to cakk back 2 times. Missed the first callback by 1 ring. Really 3 rings and you hang up. 2nd time, no callback. Waiting on 3rd callback

My son went to LifeStance back in January for a Psych consult. And we are still waiting for any response from them as well as verification of the consult. My son tried calling and they hung up on him, then told him to look in the portal which it is still not there. We emailed back at the beginning of February and just received a response at 4:46 today and still no records. Never again. I will stick with SCDMH.
