I've been a patient in the mental health system for a couple of decades. I've not met a therapist or a psychiatrist, in any institution, that didn't help me in some way in all that time. I understand there is a stigma in our society when it comes to mental health and lots of folks are intimidated by the process. Submitting to the fact that one needs help is hard. The Avon office is not accepting new patients so don’t waste your time! I hate the virtual appts. You can’t call on the weekends to cancel your video appt that is on a Sunday for example. Then get charged $60 for no show fee. I hate this place and the scheduling. I’ve been seen here many times but if I need to make a new appt with a different provider or just to be seen in person you get stuck doing the intake process all over again. Dumbest company ever.
My NP and therapist are excellent. The business office is horrible. They can never get the billing correct. Very poor. Don't seem to know what they're doing
To to say my experience was disappointing is the understatement of the year. My first in-person visit with my new “practitioner” was terrible. Krista MOUSTED lacks any understanding and compassion for her patients. Furthermore, Krista was outright rude, attempted to deflect her inappropriate behavior onto me, and failed to adequately communicate with me in any respect. I am throughly disgusted with the “service” that I received. Negative stars are appropriate for this practitioner.
I was kinda confused about the appointment I had yesterday. I was told I would be seeing Dr Mc Donald, but I walk in to the office to no one but a touch screen to register in with. Then I find out I was seeing some one as a intake person before I get to make an appointment to see a therapist which I was 100% unaware of, then I find out I may not even see Dr McDonald because they have a lot of good therapists there.
