I had a horrible experience with LifeStance Health. I was incorrectly charged a cancellation fee even though I tried reaching out in advance. Either their phone number was unreachable or it was outside business hours, making it practically impossible to cancel properly. What’s worse is that they claim appointments can be cancelled by message or phone, but in reality the only effective way is to call within office hours, more than 48 hours in advance, and wait on long customer service queues. I feel most comfortable having sessions with Deborah Kass. She ask relevant questions about my medical issues ..ie how I’m going to manage my new diagnosis of Sinus Tachycardia. I feel very comfortable sharing . We’ve made a joint decision to meet once a month for a while. Deborah will monitor my Lithium lab work (once a year) as requested by my new Internist , Dr.Salmasi. She will be responsible for handling my annual prescription of Lithium. My PCP was filling my prescription for the past 2 years .

They dont tell you the cost of anything and then all of a sudden you’re due crazy bills all the time and they dont tell you what for. if you can afford it then fine but if you can’t be careful. If you try to call their numbers you reach this call service thats incredibly confusing and convoluted. i appreciate how quick it was to see a good psychiatrist and have access to medications. but their billing feels very scammy.

The DR was nice. She's was on time and helped us set up our camera. She's was knowledgeable and friendly. Felt very comfortable with her.

My therapist is amazing. I felt comfortable right away, and unloaded a ton of feelings and felt comfortable and vulnerable at the same time doing it. Extremely happy with my therapist.
