I've been using Lifestance for over a year. I really enjoy working with my psychiatrist and therapist but I hate the way Lifestance handles scheduling. If you need to reschedule or cancel you must call them; there is no way to do it online. Every time I have called, it has taken over 30 minutes. If you decide to use this company, here is a tip: when you call, if you've been on hold for awhile, they ask if you want to keep waiting or be transferred to another office who can help you faster- do NOT agree to do this. The receptionist, was great I forgot to update my telephone number, And I thought about the last minute, So I called them and gave my new number, and my doctor call me right away. I was very angry when I couldn’t get it in touch with my doctor, I was happy when I heard from him because I needed my medicine.

As a mental health professional I hate to give 1 star, but this practice has serious ethical concerns. They cancelled my appointment and charged a no show fee. Despite trying to resolve this many times, no one cared about helping me and have now sent this to a collections department. Thankfully, I have additional resources to support my mental health, but what about people that don’t? I would hate for those people to be sent into a spiral that leaves them struggling all because of a clerical oversight.

My provider is attentive, thoughtful, and very helpful. Always on time for telehealth visits. Very flexible with appointments. Works well with me regarding medications, is a good listener.
