I feel like we clicked instantly and they have such a flexible schedule, they bill insurance and your copay so there’sno waiting to find out how much I owe. I met with 3 different providers, received therapy, and a new diagnosis and am already on my way to feeling better and it’s been less than 30 days. The therapists, assessors and prescribing doctors are all easy to talk to and they get me. I am so grateful I’m using them. I find I was able to really connect to my therapist and have actually been making progress. I kept one star off because of their cancellation policy, which steep but all told, I am satisfied. I have not done therapy because I couldn't connect with the therapist. Rex is excellent and patient with me. I'm actually encouraging family members to go to Lifestance. (If I get them to, do I get a finders fee? I kid, of course.) I like checking in on my phone and I like the front desk people, one of which really cracks me up.
Everything went very smoothly getting an appointment. The person doing new patient intake was very friendly and helpful.just had my appointment and it went really well! I definitely felt very comfortable talking with my practitioner.
I had my first meeting with David Lee today, and I have to say that it went better than I expected! I was nervous about taking these first steps that I needed, but am glad that I did! He was very knowledgeable and kind and I felt comfortable talking to him.
I am writing this review on behalf of my partner, who had an extremely distressing and harmful experience with both a therapist and psychiatrist at Lifestance. During what was supposed to be a supportive therapy session, my partner was opening up about something deeply personal when she was abruptly interrupted by her therapist. The therapist explained—without clarity—that my partner had suddenly been “terminated” from working with her psychiatrist.
