I went to this location for about a year to a year and a half. For most of my time there, I had a decent experience with the therapist I had been paired with. I was told that they took my insurance, which was nice, because it seems difficult to find excellent mental health professionals who are accessible but also ones who are affordable. I’ve used a therapist at other companies for CBT for the past ten or so years and have had a rollercoaster of experiences. Some good and some bad. I have been a patient at lifestance for almost 2 years. This is my first experience receiving psychiatric help and I had nothing to compare it to, but now that I have found another practice; I can confidently say that the patient care at lifestance needs a LOT of work. First off, don’t expect to get somebody on the phone when you call unless you plan on waiting on hold for 45 minutes. Don’t even try to leave a message for a callback- they never call you back EVER. I highly recommend them. I was having stress seizures and was able to meet with therapist Hayley Englander via zoom appointments. It was very easy to set up and she was so helpful. I am now happy to say I am stress seizure free due to simple and easy to use techniques she taught me.
They didn’t fill my paperwork out correctly to get approved for my short term disability that I should have been approved for. The therapist didn’t really help me at all. They also never sent my return to work paperwork to my job and because I told them I wouldn’t pay there bill until they fixed the situation, they sent the account to collection and never sent the paperwork I payed for in my session. My psychiatrist and therapist are patient, supportive and educated. They take great care of me and my mental health needs. I have made a great amount of progress working with them
