The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because my therapist was so kind and I love her. However, the insurance and billing team was a nightmare. I have two insurances that should completely cover the entire cost for each session. You would think they’d bill the primary the full amount then send the remaining balance to the secondary to cover but that wasn’t the case. I’ve been a lifestance patient for a while now, and I truly wish I would’ve done more research before becoming a patient. I hate it here. Anytime I speak with someone on the phone or in person, they are rude, unhelpful and just don’t care about you. This one star review is due to operating procedures, to bring visibility to a breakdown in scheduling and continuity of care at your Kissimmee, Florida location that requires immediate attention. Carolann is absolutely wonderful. She truly listens without judgment and takes the time to understand your concerns. She thoughtfully presents different treatment options and collaborates with you to determine the best path forward. I have worked with other doctors in the past who seemed quick to prescribe medication without much discussion, but Carolann takes a much more careful and patient-centered approach. I genuinely appreciate her dedication and feel very fortunate to be under her care.

My therapist was truly amazing but make sure you cancel within two business days or you’ll be charged $100. I canceled once because I was sick (literally could not talk) and then had to cancel a month later due to a work trip that was extended. I called 46.5 hours before my next appointment and was still charged another $100 with zero empathy, questioning, etc. So this mental health facility has messed my mental health up more because I now have a $200 charge looming over my head.
