I felt like I got more accomplished in just my 1 session with my psychiatrist than I have in 6 months with my previous psychiatrist at another facility. their services didn’t work for me and I had to cut ties with them this week. My assigned therapist who I did like and was working with ever since Spring has a problem with listening to people talking about their traumatic experiences. Only wanted to see one way which is that it never helps patients to talk about anything that hurts, ever. Threw coping skills on the table when I would talk about these issues to distract herself from this unavoidable source of my biggest problem.
