Doctors and nurses are fantastic at every location unfortunately the issues are shared among each location as well in that the reception frequency doesn’t know what they are doing or do they work in a timely manner. I sent in a records request and it took me calling a month later to find out they needed more information other than the form I filled out yet didn’t call me prior forcing me to go to my appointment. I absolutely love working with Denise. She has been a lifesaver for me for the past year. Would highly recommend.
I have only been to one appointment. Only problem was finding the office. GPS said “you have arrived” but there was Gentec, no Lifestance sign any where. Need to let first time folks know it is in the OSF bldg. on Empire St. whose name is not obvious from the road. Since I was a 9:00 a.m. appointment, when I called at 8:45 ( that is when I was asked to show up) the auto operator said the office was closed. I wish there was a zero star option. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. My therapist was not the issue, I had a great experience with them. The billing department is where the issues lie. Please NEVER EVER put a card on file - if you have one on file, PLEASE reach out to your insurance company ASAP and have them audit any and ALL visits you have made here and then take your card off immediately! BTW you can't take your card off by yourself. You have to call them or literally cancel the card altogether. A random... read more
Holy cannoli!! Avoid this place like the proverbial plague. It is impossible to reach the individual clinicians, they only have appointments during the week days, and the only thing they care about is money. It's not even possible to schedule an appointment without jumping through an absolute TON of hoops. Before I could even make an appointment I was required to upload copies of multiple insurance cards, which I don't have available. I am a doctor so I only have a single insurance carrier.
