I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Lifestance. I provided proper notice to cancel my service, but they refused to waive the associated fee. To make matters worse, they deleted all communication between us, leaving me with no proof to back up my claim. They offered to refund my money if I chose to return in the future, but the care I received was subpar. This experience made me feel disrespected and undervalued as a customer. I hope they address these issues and improve their customer service policies.

I was scheduled for my first in-person appointment at 9am this morning, and I was asked to arrive at 8:45am. I commuted 35 minutes downtown, and at 8:35am I was standing in front of the office when my new therapist called to tell me that she "doesn't do in-person visits" and had to cancel my appointment. She said that the scheduling team had messed up, and kept repeating "I'm sorry, this must be really frustrating for you"? Yes, obviously?? Unreal consistency with their service, and care. I work a high stress job, and the people they match you with is a stress less project if you’re willing to put in the work! Love the work I’m doing on myself and life stance therapy and providers are hands down listening to you and taking your feedback into consideration. 10/10

Providers actually care but the lack of transparent communication (aka not just calling me but having a paper record of our conversations) is dodgy and shady. Their miscommunication cost me a bill and their only option is not to actually resolve what cause the miscommunication (which there was already not much to begin with since they kept calling and leaving voicemails and not sending clear messages through the portal) but to just setup my payment plan. Actually disgusting.
