My child was non verbal and not yet potty trained when he started at LAC. He is about to graduate after two years with them to public school a completely different kid. There, a therapist worked with him one-on-one, which he thrives in. We had great communication and monthly meetings where I was informed of his progress and setbacks as well as was taught tools that they were implementing. Don't use them I fought with them for 4 years to get my daughter evaluated I finally got her an appointment and now they are canceling it because they have issues with anthem insurance when that's not even the insurance my daughter has. This is ridiculous this is supposed to be one of the top tier autism centers in my state yet I have to now restart the entire process and find somewhere else all because they don't know how to manage a business. The staff are wonderful! Lighthouse has helped my son so much. I see the progress every single day. All of the people I have met there care about my son and doing everything they can to help him!
Would not recommend they are not in it for the kids only money! Lied said my child wasn’t approved then said he was but only for 5 weeks when insurance says for 6 months! They changed his start date 3x and then told me he could only be enrolled for 5 weeks! Won’t take accountability as they had to know they choose not to take my insurance anymore cause my insurance already approved them! Heard from others they did same thing! They are not in it for the children at all.
I’m absolutely love this place my grand kids have progressed so much because of the gang here at lighthouse they work with the kids and love them like they are their own kid’s and I really love that. My grand kids love it at lighthouse and they love all the staff these are wonderful people who have the patience to work with our special needs kids and actually teach them to progress in life.
