I am writing to express my disappointment with Lighthouse's unresponsiveness. Following my relocation to Minneapolis, Minnesota, I am in the process of enrolling my daughter in a new center. Unfortunately, attempts to coordinate with Lighthouse have been unsuccessful. Despite leaving voicemails, sending faxes, and contacting HR, we have not received a response, resulting in a hold on my daughter's therapy. We got referred to lighthouse, after countless evaluations, 2hr video call evaluation, 1 hr evaluation in Granger, 1 hr evaluation on Edison rd, 5-7 long questionnaires, and constant sending IEP and other required documentation they denied my son services. Talk about a WASTE OF TIME. I highly recommend any parent to apply their kid at Journey's Autism Center. As I sat and waited for my son’s last evaluation to finish, kids were hysterical. We are so grateful for all the staff at the Lighthouse. Finding out your child has Autism is hard. Everyone made the transition easy for our son and for us as parents. Our son was treated like family and we felt completely comfortable with all of the staff. He was always excited to go to the center every day. The communication between staff and us was great. I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Lighthouse! They are caring and compassionate and want what’s best for your child as much as you do, as a parent. The ABA therapy is tailored to you child’s specific needs and is adjusted as their needs change. Even after our son “graduated” from Lighthouse and moved into Kindergarten, the staff was still there for us when behavior issues arose, to give advice and help us get back on track. My 4 year old has been at Lighthouse for almost a month and she loves it. She looks forward to going every morning. She has been sick and is still trying to put her shoes and coat on to go to school (Lighthouse). This is a child who never went to any daycare. She was always with me or my parents. I am very happy with Lighthouse and the progress my daughter is already making!! Thank you to all the wonderful staff!! 😁
