Our son was diagnosed with autism when he was 2. He is six now and has been attending LAC for a few months now and we are so impressed with the improvements he has made. He is talking more, making requests, listening better, runs away less, uses greetings, and more independent with daily tasks. Lighthouse program is amazing and the staff is awesome!!!
Our son was diagnosed with ASD at 20 months. He had delayed motor and verbal skills. He rarely made eye contact, and it took multiple attemps saying his name to get his attention. He started working with therapists at Lighthouse shortly before his 2nd birthday and we began to see results within weeks. The techs that work here are extremely unprofessional. They’re very clicked up and gossip about other techs AND CLIENTS and clients’ parents. I have personally heard techs comparing clients to cartoon characters, comparing their walk to a t-Rex, and mocking them. Clients are spoken to with sarcasm as well.Totally degrading! Some techs ask clients for kisses and tell them they love them, which is absolutely crossing professional boundaries. The center has helped my daughter accomplish so very much. Even speaking she was non verbal for years. Now mocks and speaks so cheerful. Thank you all so very much for helping her taking your time to improve her.😀
This facility is amazing! They put forth more care and concern then any other place I have seen. As a parent with an autistic child there is very limited resources with the great resources they offer. Lighthouse keep doing what your doing, each and everyone one of you know your worth. Don’t let anyone tell you different!
