As of last week, I’ve lived here for one full year. I love it!! I have nothing but good things to say about Lilac Apartments. Evelyn, the property manager, is fantastic. Anytime I’ve needed her assistance, she has been nothing but very pleasant, polite, and efficient. Anytime I’ve had a maintenance request, the team is at my apartment the same day—-usually within just a couple hours. And the problem is fixed to my full satisfaction. Why are they raising rent 500 a month.? Nothing works here bed bugs cockroaches. I have black mold in my apartment and my heat wont shut off for over a year they never fix. If tour here look closely at everything. Elevator breaks weekly and washers dryer are old and gross. Clubhouse?? No Clubhouse here.also management left early today. I’m hoping my mom qualifies for an apartment at lilac Senior! We brought her there to fill out the application, and Evelyn was very kind and gave us a tour of the property’s amenities and answered all the questions we had. It’s in a great location and the tenants we met seemed very nice. 😊 I’m a little sad about the rent increase, however, it’s understandable given the state of the economy. I hope my mom will be able to move in soon! ❤️🙏🏼
Got bought out by a private equity company called "The Micheal's Organization." First thing they do is raise rents by 350$, a very astute move for housing where your tenants are exclusively fixed income retirees. Maybe with their windfall they'll be able to actually fix the growing issues and maybe even get rid of the bed bugs.
BE AWARE, UNITS HAVE BEEN INFESTED WITH BED BUGS. Grandmother's apartment was completely infested with bed bugs. They are everywhere...bathroom, bedroom, living area. Was not aware until she had an accident which has made us find alternate care for her. We found the bugs trying to move her belongings. She complained of a rash several weeks before this, but then couldn't find a reason. Didn't even THINK to take a closer look at her bed and bathroom area.
